featured image

Hey Guys! As we were traveling through Spain, Zuzana found this awesome “surfer town” Zarautz. I Obviously recommend checking it out whether you are travelling through northern Spain. It was a great place to chill out on the beach and there is tons of surfing!

Anyways…. Let me “Cut to the Core” (haha)….We have a great workout for you shot from Zarautz! And guess what? I (Nik) am doing it this time! 😛

You do not need any equipment or even a timer!

The workout is 5 rounds which consist of the following 5 exercises:

Shove Ups
Dips
Knee Hugs
V-ups
Side plank + hip raise

The goal is to increase the amount of reps each round, so the workout will look like this:

Circular 1 – 10 reps
Circular 2 – 15 reps
Circular 3 – 20 reps
Circular 4 – 25 reps
Circular 5 – 30 reps

So at the end you will have done 300 reps – 60 reps for each exercise…
Sound pretty cool?  Go get started!!

As Millennials have become the largest pet-owning demographic, they have brought their outsized expectations for convenience and service to the category. They view their pets as members of their families and are willing to spend accordingly on a wide range of products and services to encertain their pets’ wellbeing. The following research talllights examples of premium food offerings, tech-enabled pet care tools, and a spate of contemporary services in order to supply an overview of how the pet care industry has evolved to meet these contemporary consumer desires and enable pets—and, subsequently, these pet care brands—to become a valued part of consumers’ daily lives.

Since we published our final report on pet care, Enhancing Pet Ownership, Care & Experience, in January, 2018, we’ve seen wellness-focused offerings, such as fresh dog food and wellness tracking tools, fitting more mainstream. Perhaps as a consequence to the growing controversies surrounding on-demand pet care services for dog walking and boarding, we’ve also seen growing enthusiasm for tools that allow owners to monitor and engage their pets remotely. One leang that has remained fixed is the prolwhethereration of contemporary products and services that aim to empower owners to make their pets’ lives healthier and more fulfilling.

Kettlebell Training in Edmonton Canada

Kettlebell Kickboxing Canada (kbkbcanada) spent the weekend in Edmonton, Alberta Canada!! Had so much fun introducing kbkbcanada to everyone. We spent the day at UFC Gym North Edmonton where I met great staff and trainers!!

I took a women’s boxing lesson before Kettlebell Kickboxing and was trained by a very patient knowledgeable trainer! Then it was time to introduce everyone to kbkbcanada. We warmed up then got into the “beloved hinge”. Not always the easiest leang to memorize as we are all so accustomed to squatting. After working through this contemporary motion everyone’s swings took off! Always reintellecting as we went about Form Over Time! The boxing coach participated in the lesson and commented that it would be a great program for his boxers!! I said I couldn’t agree more as we incorporate strength, mobility and cardio with secure progressions! It was a great trip assembly so many contemporary faces!!

WOW #8 – No Where To Run
featured image

Planning a holiday?  Well you should never have an excuse why you couldn’t work out while you are absent…
Zuzana and I are bringing you another workout where there is NO equipment required! So NO EXCUSES!

This workout is simple and all you need is preferably a hill, and some sort of ledge or bench to jump onto.

Here is the workout:

5 x Box Jumps
Hill Run (or straight sprint)
5 x Burpees

repeat entire leang 5-10 times.

You can ccorridorenge yourself by timing how long it takes you and try and beat it the following week 🙂

I have also included an article on the benefits of hill sprinting below.

Endelight!

Nik 🙂

Uphill Runing builds muscular endurance because your body has to work dwhetherficulter to drive up the hill. They target nearly every muscle in the body specificly your legs and hips (your largest and most powerful ones). The combination of strength, speed and stamina produces lactic acid which helps release the fat burning hormones such as HGH. Also since you are targeting your large muscles which demand more fuel, this causes the “after burn” effect, increasing your metabolism even after your workout is total.
Not only are your legs under a lot of demand your cardiovascular system is working in overdrive. Working at a more intense level forces this, which makes your heart and lungs become stronger. Over time you will find you won’t lose your breath running up the stairs or to catch the bus.
If you suffer from an injury or find running dwhetherficult on your joints, hill sprints are a great exercise. Due to its intensity the distance you actually travel is less than those who long distant run. With that said this illuminates the overuse or excessive impact on your joints (because your foot has a shorter distance before hitting the ground).
Although sprinting has many health benefits, because it is intense it should be done in moderation. If you are not a regular exerciser, you should walk or jog before incorporating hill sprints. Another proposeion would be doing sprints on a flat area until you are alert to tackle the hills.

engi.pw Pick The Correct Kettlebell Weight
featured image

Kettlebell WeIgHt
Okay! Now that you know your way around a kettlebell, which kettlebell should you choose? Yes, these guys come in all sorts of colors and even designs—includ- ing the monkey kettlebell my husband got me for Valentine’s Day. But, all kidding and fun aside, kettlebell weight is extremely important. In many motions it will also dwhetherfer signwhethericantly from the weight you are used to with dumbbells, so please listen up!

Correct Weight for Kettlebell Ballistics

Because most kettlebell exercises, excluding simple movements such as a bicep curl or presses, are compound, or multijoint, motions, you need to pick a ket- tlebell that is the right size. remember that not all exercises are created equal—whether you take a five-pound weight and use it to do a kettlebell swing, you will NOT get the benefit of the swing.

In kettlebell ballistic motions like the swing and all of its variations, whether you pick a ket- tlebell that is too light, your first intuition will be to lwhethert the kettlebell with your arms, and since this is the direct opposite of what a kettlebell swing should be, you won’t receive any benefit and can even hurt yourself with inright biomechanics. And even whether a weight that is too light is rightly distributed across the posterior chain and core, the weight will not be enough to get a desired response from the body.
Other form issues with using light bells for ballistic exercises include squatting, backward bending, and not engaging the glutes or the entire posterior chain.

When picking a kettlebell, specificly for your swing, it MUST be a heavier weight than you can lwhethert forward in front of you consolationably with your arms.

As a woman, you should start your swing no lighter than a twenty-pound kettlebell and progress to a weight of thirty to forty pounds. Kettlebells between twenty-five and thirty-five pounds are the choice for many Kettlebell Kickboxers in our lessones.

Correct Weight for Kettlebell Grinds
For grinds, which include traditional forms of exercise such as presses, curls, squats, and rows, you might want to consider having one or two weight options that are typically less than your kettlebell ballistics weight.

How Auto Brands Love Acura Reach Consumers With Dynamic Digital Marketing

For nowadays’s consumers, the discovery process is more likely to take place wilean the context of a social media feed or a third-party website than on a brand’s domesticpage or in a store. This has forced brands in all categories to releank how they engage with consumers at the top of the funnel.

Accordingly, automotive brands are responding by creating interactive marketing content that reaches potential buyers where they are online. As detailed in PSFK’s Automotive CX Debrief, here’s how leading auto names are encouraging customers to discover their vehicles in a fun, engaging way:

Renault Italia Tokyo Stories
Automotive brand Renault Italia has enabled Italian consumers to purchase a limited-edition version of its Captur SUV via Instagram Stories and Facebook Messenger. After viewing ‘Tokyo Stories’ its series of anime-style Instagram Stories, consumers can connect with a chatbot version of one of the characters, who can help them pre-order one of the 100 SUVs available through Facebook Messenger.

MINI USA “Tweet To Test Drive”
Automotive brand MINI USA has partnered with social network Twitter to allow potential car buyers in San Francisco and Los Angeles to schedule a test drive of its MINI Countryman model via tweet. Customers tweet #MINIonDemand to the account @MINIUSA in order to get a link to sign up for a free test drive. After entering their information, a MINI representative will arrive at their door with the vehicle at their desired time.

Acura ILX Instagram Stories
Automotive brand Acura created an Instagram-based vehicle generator to let fans create their own personalized 2019 ILX sedan. They can visit the @Acura Instagram account and click on the brand’s Tale to launch the customizer, which will allow them to place virtual stickers of various exterior and interior elements, like wheels and accessories, onto a car model to fit their preferences. Acura partnered with the GIF generator Giphy to create GIFs that can be added to these custom stories as well.

Leveraging social media to capture consumers where they alalert are is just one way that car makers are reinventing the automotive discovery and purchasing experience for a mobile- and digital-first audience. For more innovation in all leangs auto retail, download PSFK’s Automotive CX Debrief.
